Brumas is a series deeply connected to my cycle of poems titled La Parábola. In this series, I visually represent how the protagonist of La Parábola perceives reality—a vision that becomes distorted and altered after inhaling the perfume of the fruit, a fragrance that Adam and Eve have connected to a machine to be inhaled, transforming his perception of the world.

Each piece in Brumas captures that moment when reality disintegrates, enveloped in an ethereal mist that blurs the boundaries between what is real and what is a product of the character’s altered mind. The landscapes that emerge are like fragments of a dream, places where forms dissolve and recombine in a constant flow of uncertainty. The soft colors and muted tones create an atmosphere of mystery and introspection, drawing the viewer into a world that challenges logic and reason.

With Brumas, I invite the viewer to step into the mind of the protagonist of La Parábola, to experience the dissolution of reality as he does. These paintings are not just visual representations; they are windows into an altered state of consciousness, where perception becomes a labyrinth of shapes and colors that evoke the fragility of our understanding of the world.
